Ryan Miller founded Etna Interactive in 2002 in San Luis Obispo, California. He had worked for a plastic surgery roll-up that held stakes in about 32 practices. When the company moved to Atlanta, he stayed in California and pitched it on becoming his first client.

Etna markets elective medical practices: plastic surgery, facial plastics, dermatology, medical spas, and ophthalmology. Services cover websites, SEO, answer engine optimization for AI search, paid search and social, email, reputation, and staff training. The team of about 75 works remotely across several states.

Etna also builds its own products. SILO is its WordPress platform, Curator runs before-and-after galleries with an AI caption tool called First Draft, and Spotlight handles photo and video. It sells call tracking, lead management, and a reputation tool as well.

Etna says it starts with business goals, prices a plan to reach them, and then asks the client whether the spend makes sense. Its case studies include Dr. Mark Jewell, who it says went from invisible to in demand after a Google blacklisting, and Dr. Steven Camp's launch of a solo practice.

First Page Sage fits when AI search visibility and thought leadership content are the main buy. Sagapixel or Cardinal Digital Marketing fit groups that want paid media and SEO run at scale.

Rosemont Media fits aesthetic and dental practices that want market exclusivity. Officite or DoctorLogic fit practices that mainly need a templated website and patient tools.
