Elliott Wood

CEO

Mosai

Elliott Wood is the chief executive of Mosai, the home health and hospice software company formed in 2025 when Medalogix and Forcura merged. He joined Medalogix in 2013, when its five employees worked out of a small house on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, and led it as CEO before the merger.

Early Career in Health Technology

Wood held roles at HealthStream in Nashville, Tennessee, and at AirStrip Technology in San Antonio, Texas. His early work centered on hospitals, as he recalled: "Early on, my career focused on working with health systems and implementing technology."

Joining Medalogix on Music Row

Medalogix built predictive models that help home health and hospice agencies judge how much care each patient needs and when a patient may be nearing the end of life. Wood joined the company in 2013, his first job in home-based care, and rose to chief executive. The setting of the work is what kept him there: "I've always been drawn to home health and hospice because of where care is delivered."

Two Grandmothers

Wood ties his commitment to the work to his two grandmothers, who both fell late in life. One had a hard time in post-acute care and spent most of her last 55 days in an inpatient rehabilitation facility, while the other went home from the hospital and regained her independence with help from home health providers. He drew a plain lesson from the contrast: "it is such a critical point in a patient's life to get care right."

Forming Mosai

Forcura and Medalogix merged in March 2025, and the combined company took the name Mosai that October, with Wood as chief executive. He explained the name as a picture built from many pieces: "we bring together disparate, often disconnected pieces of information and transform them into a picture that makes sense for administrators and clinicians." In February 2026, Interim HealthCare chose Mosai as the preferred workflow technology partner for its franchise network.

A Surgeon in the Family

Wood's brother is a surgeon, which gives him a close view of hospital care: "I see that firsthand in the community that he is serving." Outside work, he spends time with his wife and family.
