Consulting at Accenture and PwC
Before founding Portiva he worked as a management consultant at Accenture and PwC, focusing on process improvement and operations. Frustration with inefficient healthcare administration led him to start a company that would take routine work off clinicians.
Founding Portiva in 2009
He founded Portiva in 2009 with a team of three. It focused on back-office work, mostly medical transcription, until the pandemic, when demand shifted toward virtual assistants for medical, dental and veterinary practices.
