Pramila Srinivasan

Founder and CEO

CharmHealth

Pramila Srinivasan is founder and chief executive of MedicalMine and of CharmHealth, a cloud record and practice-management suite for smaller clinics. She earned a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering at Purdue and started MedicalMine in 2007 so a practice could use current software for the chart, not only for the bill.

A PhD from Purdue University

She graduated from Purdue University in 1997 with a PhD in electrical and computer engineering.

Research in Signal Processing

Before the company she worked in research and development on multimedia signal processing, neural-network classification of medical data, security algorithms, and speech recognition, inside startups that built technology for consumer electronics. She founded MedicalMine in 2007 so clinics of different sizes could use newer tools for care and documentation. CharmHealth grew out of that work as a cloud suite for practice management, the clinical chart, and patient engagement.

She is also president and founder of The BRAIN Foundation, a California nonprofit that tries to speed therapies, including ones that would need FDA approval, for people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
