Pinaki Dasgupta is founder and chief executive of Hindsait, which turns free-text clinical records into structured data a health plan can act on. He started the company in 2013 after two decades running large technology programs, most recently as a managing director at Accenture.
Founding Hindsait
In 2013 he founded Hindsait to solve a problem he had watched healthcare accept: charts full of facts that the surrounding systems could not read. Its software is built for healthcare and has been in production at WPS Health. It also sells a prior-authorization tool that reads those records so a plan can apply its rules without a person retyping the chart. He holds an MBA, and the company's work later drew a Gartner recognition in 2026. Customers include health plans, providers, and accountable care organizations.
