Pam Pure is a co-founder and board member of Posterity Health, a Greenwood Village, Colorado, company that offers male fertility testing and treatment through virtual visits, at-home diagnostics and in-person consults.
McKesson Technology Solutions
She spent 25 years in health care technology as a marketer and administrator and rose to president of McKesson Technology Solutions, a division of McKesson Corp. She then took a year off with her family, during which her mother began treatment for cancer and her in-laws had a heart attack and a stroke within a few months.
Chief Executive of HealthMEDX
Managing those care plans showed her that post-acute care was still paper-heavy. She spent 18 months studying the market with Spectrum Equity Investors and Trident Capital, and in December 2011 they bought HealthMEDX, an Ozark, Missouri, home care software company, and made her its chief executive.
Founding Posterity Health
In 2021 she co-founded Posterity with her husband, Barrett Cowan, a male fertility specialist of 25 years, and led it as chief executive. The company raised $6 million in a round that included Distributed Ventures. "What needs to happen is simultaneous evaluation of both partners at the beginning of that process," she said of couples trying to conceive.
