Mike Coffey
Chief Executive Officer
Clearwave
Mike Coffey is chief executive of Clearwave, which handles check-in, eligibility, and patient messages so a clinic front desk is not retyping the same facts.
Running Technology Businesses
He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He is a four-time chief executive with more than 20 years leading technology businesses. He was most recently a managing operating partner at a mid-market private-equity firm, working across about a dozen portfolio companies. Before that he was chief executive of DTiQ, an operating platform for restaurants and retailers, and doubled it to about 50,000 locations. Other chief-executive and board roles included Zonar/GPS Trackit, Swipeclock, Concord Servicing, Wyless, and RISI.
Taking Over Clearwave
On September 2, 2025, Clearwave, based in Atlanta, Georgia, and majority-owned by Great Hill Partners, appointed him chief executive. He succeeded Mike Lamb, who had led the company since 2019, as Clearwave came off a record first half of 2025 with more than 22 million patients served. "I'm honored to join Clearwave at such a pivotal moment in its growth," he said.
