Mark Carnett is a family physician and founding chief executive of HelloRache, a family-owned company that places virtual assistants with medical, dental, and veterinary clinics. He started it in 2017 after deciding his own practice needed that kind of help.
Launching HelloRache
He practices family medicine in Arizona. After years of fighting with his electronic medical record and charting past 5 PM, he looked for a better way, and in 2016 he saw the need for trained remote help in healthcare, and HelloRache launched in 2017. It places assistants with clinics in the United States, and he uses them in his own practice. In 2020 it passed 1,000 assistants and added dental and veterinary roles. In 2022 it marked five years. In 2024 it reached 10,000 assistants, with operations in the Philippines as well as a U.S. team.
The company is family owned. Teresa Carnett, a podiatrist, is vice president of training development. Other relatives hold operating roles, including business development and veterinary medicine. He holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree.
