Studycast (Core Sound Imaging)

Lindsey Klein is chief executive of Core Sound Imaging, the Raleigh, North Carolina, company behind Studycast, cloud software that cardiology and imaging practices use to store, read, and report studies.

Two Decades in Health Care Strategy

She earned a bachelor of science from Wake Forest University. She was a managing director at The Advisory Board Company, general manager and senior vice president at Quantros, and chief product officer of Healthcare Bluebook, then became chief strategy officer of QGenda, where she set the product strategy and roadmap.

Taking Over from the Founders

In June 2025 she succeeded Core Sound's founders, Mark and Laurie Smith, who stayed on as advisors and board members, a year after the company took an $80 million growth investment from PSG. That August she bought UltraLinQ Healthcare Solutions, a cloud PACS and cardiac monitoring company. "This acquisition allows us to further solidify that promise to our customers and the market," she said.
