Co-Founder and CEO
AZmed
Julien Vidal is co-founder and chief executive of AZmed, which reads an X-ray for a fracture so a radiologist is not the only check on a crowded list.
Banking at Rothschild
He finished the ESC program at Grenoble Ecole de Management in 2018. Before the company he worked in banking at Rothschild and at Credit Agricole, on investment and financial management for European startups.
Co-founding AZmed
In 2018 he co-founded AZmed with Alexandre Attia and Elie Zerbib-Attal. The aim was to automate the routine part of a read so a radiologist spends time where judgment matters. The algorithms look for abnormalities on X-rays that are easy to miss when a shift is rushed.
A first funding round in 2019 took the team to 10 people. In 2020 the company launched Rayvolve, its fracture-detection product.
