Jordan Kelley is co-founder and chief executive of Enter Health, which automates medical billing from eligibility checks through payment posting so a practice can get paid faster.
Launching the First Bitcoin ATM
Before health care he ran Robocoin, a Nevada company that made bitcoin ATMs. In October 2013 Robocoin and its partner Bitcoiniacs opened the first one, in a coffee shop in Vancouver, British Columbia. "It's been a crazy day. I can't even tell you how incredible it is," he said.
Building Enter Health
He then co-founded Enter, which works with small and medium-size practices and does not replace their electronic health record. In a demo he showed a payment landing in a provider's account for a visit that happened that morning. "We're not an EHR; we're a revenue cycle management solution," he said. The company later added CTRL ENTER, a desktop assistant for prior authorization and coding questions.
