From Staffing to Credentialing
He co-founded Modio in October 2014 with Kirk Heath, MD. It began as a staffing company, but the founders found that credentialing was the bottleneck, sometimes taking six months before a provider could work, and clients kept asking for that piece. "We pivoted pretty quickly to develop a dedicated credentialing software tool," he said. The OneView platform launched in 2015 and replaced fax machines, spreadsheets, and paper files.
Joining CHG Healthcare
CHG Healthcare acquired Modio in 2019, and he served as chief operating officer. In January 2025 he became president as Heath moved to a physician advisor role at CHG. By then Modio had grown from three to 60 employees, with more than 900 healthcare organizations managing over 600,000 providers on it.
