Jeff Gartland is chief executive of Relatient. Relatient's Dash software handles scheduling, patient communication, and access, and it follows a practice's provider rules and visit types so the practice's staff book an appointment that matches those rules.
McKesson, Ciox, and Anthem
He spent more than 25 years in digital health. He held senior roles at McKesson's RelayHealth business, building products for the billing and clinical interoperability markets, then was president of Ciox Health, now part of Datavant. He went on to lead Anthem's Advanced Analytics and Services division, now Carelon, as its president.
Taking Over Relatient
On September 21, 2021, Relatient's board appointed him chief executive, with Michele Perry, chief executive since 2017, moving to vice chair. The company, based in Nashville, Tennessee, had just merged with Radix Health and taken a $100 million growth investment from Brighton Park Capital. It now supports more than 150 million appointments a year. "At each stop, I saw how much friction is in the patient journey," he said of his career before Relatient.
