Jeff Diamond

Chief Executive Officer

Aptarro

Jeff Diamond is chief executive of Aptarro, a company in Tallahassee, Florida, whose software checks medical claims for coding mistakes and insurer rule problems before they go out, so physician practices get fewer claims denied. He took the job on March 23, 2026, after more than 20 years running sales, operations, and strategy at healthcare data and technology companies, including as president of the healthcare business of LexisNexis Risk Solutions.

From Law School to LexisNexis

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University and a law degree from Rutgers Law School. He spent more than 12 years at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a data and analytics company based in metro Atlanta, Georgia. Over eight years in its healthcare business he held senior roles in product management, analytics, operations, and professional services, then led sales, strategy, and marketing as senior vice president of commercial operations. In September 2021 the company promoted him to president and general manager of the healthcare business, running its day-to-day operations.

He later served as executive vice president of physician solutions at the medical billing company R1 RCM. Most recently he was chief operating officer of MDpanel, one of the largest providers of independent and qualified medical evaluations in the United States and Canada, where he led its growth in operations, an update of its technology, and its sales and marketing.

Leading Aptarro

Aptarro was formed by combining Alpha II and RCxRules, and it is backed by the investment firm TA Associates.

Its products include RCx, which reviews and corrects charges before a claim is created, ClaimStaker, which scrubs claims against clinical and payer rules to prevent denials, and HCC Coding, which reviews each visit in real time so the diagnosis codes that set a patient's risk adjustment score are accurate. RemitIntel draws on payment results from across Aptarro's customer network to point a practice to the causes of its denials.

When he joined, he pointed to the years of claims data behind those products: "What drew me to Aptarro was the data asset at the core of this business." His plan is to sell customers results drawn from that data as a service, in addition to the software itself.
