Serving in the Marine Corps
He holds a bachelor of arts in history from Virginia Tech. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a battalion communications officer and completed multiple tours.
Expanding Lumeris's Markets
He has more than 20 years across managed care, population health, and healthcare technology. At Lumeris, a population-health company, he expanded operations from three markets to 11 and grew Medicare Advantage membership by more than 20 percent a year. As chief growth officer at CitizensRx, a pharmacy benefit manager with about $500 million in scale, he tripled sales. Most recently before Syra he was senior vice president of commercial at Ellipsis Health, which sells voice AI to healthcare and life-sciences customers.
He sits on the Hamilton County Hospital Association board in Indiana.
