Evan Richardson is founder and chief executive of Form Health, a virtual clinic for obesity care. He started it in 2019 to combine medication with a care model built for sustained weight loss, and the first patients were seen in 2020.
Founding Form Health
He started Form Health in 2019, after the American Medical Association had recognized obesity as a disease, to use technology and newer drugs for evidence-based obesity care. In 2020 the virtual clinic opened, drawing on the practice of chief medical officer Florencia Halperin. He and Halperin still lead the clinical team. Patients use the service, including a short eligibility quiz, and employers and health plans can offer it as a benefit.
