Eran Taus

CEO

AISAP

Eran Taus is chief executive of AISAP, a company whose FDA-cleared software reads point-of-care ultrasound, the scans clinicians take at a patient's bedside, and flags heart failure and heart valve disease. He joined in February 2026 after running Israeli companies since the 1990s, most notably the health services group Novolog and the laboratory equipment company Rhenium.

Running Israeli Companies

From the 1990s on he held management and chief executive posts at Israeli technology, services, and logistics companies. They include five years as chief executive of the Chemovil Group, one of Israel's leading producers and distributors of chemicals and raw materials.

Building an Israeli Health Group

He joined Novolog as chief executive in 2017. Over the next six years he led a run of acquisitions and expansion that turned it into a health services group with about 1,000 employees and three divisions, covering logistics, health services, and digital health. Its digital division launched Symptomi with the startup Kahun, a tool that handles preliminary medical questions with no human contact.

When he announced his departure in April 2023, he summed up the period: "Over the last six years, Novolog has become the leading healthcare group in Israel." His last day was October 17, 2023.

In August 2023, at 59, he was appointed chief executive of the Rhenium Group, a supplier of laboratory, diagnostic, and medical equipment to labs and health organizations in Israel. Rhenium is based in Modi'in, a city between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and is owned by its chairman, Dror Israeli, together with a private equity fund.

Leading AISAP

AISAP's software analyzes scans from point-of-care ultrasound devices. It grades leaks and narrowing in the heart's mitral, tricuspid, and aortic valves and measures how strongly the left ventricle pumps, so clinicians can find serious heart disease early, at the bedside, and refer the right patients to a cardiologist.

When he took over as chief executive, founder Adiel Am-Shalom moved into the role of president to focus on long-term strategy, its product and algorithm roadmap, and partnerships, while Taus took charge of day-to-day operations and growth.

In March 2026 AISAP announced a partnership with Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, the largest group of independent cardiologists in the United States, to put its software in their practices.
