Danny Nabavi is co-founder and chief executive of Staffing For Doctors, a Los Angeles, California, company that places virtual staff trained for medical offices. He studied business law at California State University, Northridge, and he started the firm after building and selling an earlier staffing company.
Building Virtual Staffing Firms
He has more than seven years building, scaling, and selling virtual staffing companies. He co-founded Berry Virtual, a multi-million-dollar staffing firm that was acquired. After that sale he co-founded MedVirtual and worked with physicians and practice managers. He concluded that a general staffing firm did not know HIPAA rules, specialty workflows, or the differences among electronic records.
He then founded Staffing For Doctors to place people who are certified on HIPAA and trained for a specialty, so they work inside the practice, not as a rotating call center. Staffing For Doctors is a multi-million-dollar business. He also wrote Virtual Staffing for Medical Practices: Staffing Problems Solved, a guide for clinic leaders on using remote staff.
