Christine Li is founder and president of Mentaya, which checks out-of-network benefits and files claims for therapy clients so a therapist can charge a full cash rate while the client seeks reimbursement.
Formative Years in High School
In high school she saw how little support classmates had after a series of teen suicides in her community, and how rarely anyone talked about it. "I'm building Mentaya with the hopes of creating a world in which therapy is accessible to everyone," she wrote.
Leaving Google to Found Mentaya
She was a product manager at Google before leaving to build Mentaya for therapists. When Maria Lulo became chief executive, Li stayed on as founder and president.
