Blake Walker is co-founder and chief executive of Inbox Health, which turns a coded patient statement into a bill a person can read and pay.
Founding Inbox Health
He came to healthcare payments through patient financing, where statements were full of codes and follow-up was thin, so many patients never paid. He and Simon Kaluza founded Inbox Health in 2014. As chief product officer he built the software billing companies use to explain and collect the patient's share of a bill.
On April 2, 2018, the board in New Haven, Connecticut, appointed him chief executive. The company now works with more than 3,000 practices and more than 2 million patients a year.
