A Gymnast Drawn to Health Care

At Bristol Eastern High School, in Bristol, Connecticut, she took part in a nursing program. She was a scholarship gymnast at the University of Florida, where she earned a bachelor of science in health sciences, then spent 10 years in pharmaceutical sales and 12 years in surgical-device sales, along with 16 years in real estate.

Launching GMVA

In 2019 she launched GMVA, with its whole customer-service team based in the Philippines. By 2025 it worked with about 1,200 medical virtual assistants and ranked No. 368 on the Inc. 5000. "If we can get that burden off clinical staff, they can focus on patient care, which is where we want them to be," she said. She lives in West Hartford and keeps the company's headquarters there.
