Anshul Rathi is founder and chief executive of CertifyOS, a New York, New York, company whose software handles credentialing, licensing and enrollment of clinicians for health plans and digital health companies, drawing on primary sources.
From Oscar Health to CertifyOS
He was one of the first employees at Oscar Health, where he was tasked with building its provider network management function, and spent six years there. At Oscar he looked for vendors to solve his credentialing problems and found mostly point solutions built for compliance. He conceived CertifyOS in 2018 and began building it during the pandemic, aiming, he wrote, "to build a single source of truth for provider data across the US healthcare industry." The software replaces a 40-page application form with a system that asks for six key data elements.
